Assumption of Availability
Throughout my life, I have met both delightful and less pleasant human beings. I am most annoyed by those who stubbornly view that cats like me, who do not have a formal job, are less "busy" than any of them. This species believes that just because I have no "family" therefore they are entitled to my free time outside my posted job hours.
They assume that we only live to eat, play, and sleep.
This is a false stereotype that has become a detriment to my career. There are other activities that I partake such as grooming my fur, sunbathing, and caring for my favorite humans. I believe such activities are no less important than their family.
My free time belongs to me.
Whatever I do in my free time is nobody's business.
